Very rare promotional poster for John Cougar Mellencamp's "Ain't That America" video compilation! This scarce poster was distributed exclusively to video stores by Musicvision and PMV back in 1984 and is extremely hard to find! This poster measures 18" x 24"

Here is an original entry form for MTV's Party House Contest in connection with John 'Cougar' Mellencamp's UH-HUH album. Some of you may remember this huge promotion "we're gonna paint the mutha pink". This was back when MTV still had the M in it. You and 20 friends were flown to Bloomington, IN to party with John and the band in your very own rock n roll estate for the week-end and then on Sunday afternoon you painted the house pink. Lots of other prizes too, including a garage full of Hawaiian Punch. This unused entry form is 11 x 5 1/2 and is in very fine condition. The bottom portion is a snap-off postcard and is fully intact. One side describes the contest and prizes and the other gives all the legal stuff-rules and regulations. Sorry all entries must be received by midnight, Tuesday, June 26, 1984!

autograph from 1981. It is signed as John Cougar on a piece of music hand-written. Possibly John hand-wrote the music, but I'm not really sure of that. The signature is large and in black sharpie and dated "1981". It is framed and matted and is approximately 16" X 20". This piece was given as a gift to all RCA executives in 1981.

FALLING FROM GRACE*** DIGITALLY MASTERED VHS hi-fi Dolby Surround.... Singer John Mellencamp makes his acting and directing     debut in this heart-felt love story about a famous singer's return to his small-town roots. FALLING FROM GRACE travels the same rural roads as     Mellencamp's best music. Jetting in from Los Angeles, singer Bud Parks (Mellencamp) and his wife Alice (Mariel Hemingway) return to his Indiana hometown to celebrate his grandfather's 80th birthday. But once there, Bud immediately returns to the wild ways of his youth. He risks his marriage by renewing a love affair with his high school sweetheart and risks his life with the hard drinking and highwire antics that made him famous.

Like A Star Is Born, FALLING FROM GRACE is an unforgettable potrait of a star driven to make music - and desperate to find love. "A vibrantly funny and touching film...It sneaks into your heart with the power of a song." (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone).

'Maybe The Rain Will Fall' b/w 'Deeper In' by The Chosen Few. Released 1968, on this local, Indianapolis, Indiana label. The A-side was covered by The Cascades, another band with Indiana connections. The B-side was penned by the late John Cascella, who later on played keyboards in John     Cougar Mellencamp's band. The Chosen Few (out of Muncie, Indiana) released an LP on RCA in 1969, and later released LPs on various labels under the names Limousine and Faith Band. I recall attending Wednesday night teen dances at the Fairmount, Indiana ( James Dean's hometown )      Shelter House in the late sixties; at which The Chosen Few often played.
