 Ever wonder what the Subnet Mask needed to be when your ISP, or uplink handed you several IPs ? Well here is a simple and quick way to get that information.

1 net / 256    IP 255.255.255.0   - 24B
2 net / 128    IP 255.255.255.128 - 25B
4 net /  64    IP 255.255.255.192 - 26B
8 net /  32    IP 255.255.255.224 - 27B
16 net / 16    IP 255.255.255.240 - 28B
32 net /  8    IP 255.255.255.248 - 29B
64 net /  4    IP 255.255.255.252 -30B
